After your IM I was thinking-a lot. I couldn't get all my thoughts in one instant messanger conversation. So I think these are my thoughts....

I do not believe in Santa Clause, but I do believe that the spirt of christmas makes people do wonderful things for each other. I do not that people appeared from thin air, but I do believe that even evolution can be part of "the plan." I do not believe that it is physically possible for 2 of every species(all billion of them?) to fit onto a boat to travel to safety, but I do believe that the story came from somewhere. And I believe OJ did it.

I don't know what will happen when this all ends, but for me I MUST believe that there is something more. I cannot comprehend that one day it just ends. I cannot believe that life is a cosmic joke. I believe because I have faith. I am not the best Catholic, but I have faith that in the end it will all make sense. I have faith that someday I will be reuinted with my Pepere Cardinal, my Memere Cardinal, and finally meet my Pepere Perron.

I cannot comfort you with promises that the Pearly Gates are opened wide for you, and I cannot promise you that my beliefs are right. I will promise you that there are no answers. I will promise you that you will not find any evidence that heaven exists, but with that I will promise you that you will find no evidence that heaven DOESN'T exist. That is where your faith comes to play. If don't have faith you might be wrong. If you do have faith you might be wrong. But no one will know until it is all over. If you live more comfortably without believeing in a higher power that is your choice, but if you live more comfortably thinking there is more out there that is your right. There is nothing wrong with it....
